David Sigura (born January 12, 1995) is a filmmaker, writer and actor in Los Angeles, CA. He graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology.

He started acting at a young age, participating in the California Theatre Center until he was 13 years old. He played the titular character in CTC’s production of The Odyssey, the tape of which has unfortunately been lost in the annals of history.

After taking a break to focus on his education and to work in the semiconductor industry through the family business, David resumed acting and gained an appreciation for filmmaking. He studied under Chris Game, an actor and casting director with over 20 years of experience, including a long time association with the Elephant Theatre Company.

His first short film, Hide and Seek (2019), won numerous awards and played at the Tokyo Lift-Off Film Festival. In 2020 he wrote, produced, directed and starred in the feature film Florida Man (2022), which saw a digital release. And in his biggest project yet, he was proud to contribute to the HBOMax documentary series Gaming Wall Street (2022) as a story editor.

He hopes to work in filmmaking full time and is looking for employment by a studio or production house. He enjoys playing guitar, skateboarding, cracking hilarious jokes that everybody totally laughs at, and writing movie reviews. His favorite films include PTA’s There Will Be Blood, Sergio Leone’s Once Upon A Time In America, Bong Joon-ho’s Memories of Murder, Richard Linklater’s Before trilogy, and Celine Sciamma’s Portrait of a Lady on Fire.
